Documents add a proposed commercial plan for research publishers

The new commercial plan proposes US specialist technology research publishers and analyst firms as initial customers. The project remains at specification stage, and proposed prices and revenue targets require customer validation.

· commit fa195a8

Proposed first customer

The plan proposes helping research businesses use their archives with source permissions, attribution receipts and agreed contributor compensation. A publisher could supply source material and become a customer.

Proposed offers and readiness requirements

Proposed price tests include a $5,000 two-week readiness engagement, a $15,000 eight-week limited pilot and a $7,500 monthly managed subscription. Production pilots require readiness gates to pass. The proposed marketing budget remains separate from implementation funding.

Proposed commercial targets

The proposed 90-day target includes two paid readiness engagements representing $10,000 in services bookings, rather than annual recurring revenue. The conditional 12-month proposal targets six subscription customers and $540,000 in annual recurring revenue at that period’s end. These targets remain unvalidated.

Proposed acquisition tactics

The new register evaluates 139 tactics and proposes 14 for the first 90 days. It makes later tactics conditional on budget, capacity and prerequisites, and excludes 53 tactics from the proposal. Publishing the register does not execute outreach, posts, events or spending.
