New comparison maps proposed requirements to patent claims
A new document compares proposed Sovereign Source requirements with twelve patent documents. It identifies licensed retrieval, contributor rewards and provider reporting as the closest functional overlap.
Patent overlap and review priorities
The comparison distinguishes similar proposed functions, unresolved implementations and mechanisms the proposal does not require. It states that additional agreement and accounting controls do not establish patent novelty or remove overlap.
Proposed reward criteria
The comparison explains that recorded use and accepted agreements would determine rewards under the proposal. An AI estimate of influence alone would not create an entitlement.
Specification-stage limits
The document compares proposed requirements, not operating software. The proposed initial milestones use deterministic model behavior, synthetic attribution proposals and simulated payments. The comparison recommends patent counsel assess the implemented combination and relevant claims before commercial deployment.
Documentation references
The README and patent landscape research now reference the new comparison.
